The Company of the Daughters of Charity is a society of Apostolic life for women with the Catholic Church.
Founded in 1633, the The Company of the Daughters of Charity has been devoted to serving Jesus Christ in persons who are poor through corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

Sister Catherine Prendergast, right, is the lead NGO representative for the Daughters of Charity. She is from Ireland and has served since 2014. Sister Margaret O’Dwyer, left, works with Sr. Catherine. She is from the US and began in 2015. Sister Monique Javouhey, middle, is a French sister who has served in Geneva for a number of years.
